Historical Notes:

Flavia Maximiana Theodora was either the daughter or stepdaughter of Emperor Maximian.  She was given in marriage to Maximian's junior colleague Constantius Chlorus, and by him she had six children.  She was the stepmother of Constantine the Great, and the grandmother of Delmatius, Hannibalianus, Constantius Gallus, and the emperor Julian II.  It is not known exactly when she was born or when she died, but a limited series of coinage was issued in her name, most likely posthumously, at the mints of Trier, Rome and Constantinople.
